The Swickard Family

Meet Josh and Lauren! Josh and Lauren are two mid-Westerners who found each other in Hollywood. These two could not be more down to earth, happy, and genuine! After a short conversation it felt like we had been friends for years. 

 

 

Josh and Lauren met on the set of a movie they were making. They're both actors and played love interests in a romantic movie called Roped (on Netflix if you want to see!). 

 

 

Josh currently plays Chase in General Hospital. He is so grateful for the role and how it's given him the flexibility to work on passion projects and spend a lot of time with his family. Lauren and Josh wrote and sold a movie to Netflix during COVID lockdown.

 

 

It sounds cheesy but these two epitomize that "Celebrities, they're just like us" phrase. Josh proposed to Lauren in Beaver Creek in front of their families while playing charades. The best man at his wedding was his grandpa. Lauren is now pregnant with their second baby! 

 

 

I asked them their family goals. They told me "Keep growing closer as a family, be a blessing to those in need."  They believe it's possible to raise a family with strong core values, even working and living in an often precarious industry. "Living in Hollywood scares the crap out of us. I guess we’re trying to a raise a family in values rooted in what matters." 

 

 

These two are just good humans. You could feel their light and goodness through the phone. Josh and Lauren - We're honored that you shared your goodness with us!
